India, US, Israel collaborate to develop secure 5G communication network

India, Israel, and the US are all set to collaborate to develop world-class, transparent, open, reliable, and secure 5G communication networks. The branching out of this trilateral initiative in the development and technology arena is crucial. In particular, the Indian diaspora in the US and Israel was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his historic visit to Israel in 2017. This collaboration to build a 5G network is a first step to strengthen the relationship.

"Because we'll collaborate in science and research and development in coming up with the next generations of technologies, things that the likes of you and the rest of us on the phone can't even imagine what they might be. But by officially affirming the importance of this relationship, we'll advance it," US Agency for International Development (USAID) Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick stated.

"This partnership will help to solve the world's development challenges. This will also provide employment opportunities to many and will also lead to the virtual US-India-Israel policy that primarily focuses on trilateral partnerships in the strategic, technology, and development arenas. This collaboration will also provide a stage to further international development trilaterally.
