India and Japan now agrees to join forces on 5G technology

Cyber-attacks have always been a threat, hence to tackle that the Indian government along with the Japanese government have joined hands to work together on the development of 5G Technology. The main concern, for now, is the Chinese telecommunication equipment giant Huawei. To handle this issue the two countries have decided to share information on risks that are related to security. Risks like illegal access to data and further avoid Chinese products to dominate the Indian market. This is where the 5G discussion has escalated so much and for this reason, the two countries will be meeting up in Tokyo for the third round of bilateral. Japan plans on having very high officials like the national police agency, foreign ministry and more to attend the conference. At the same time, India also wants to include the home affairs ministers and external affairs ministers to join the conference.

During the conference, the two sides are expected to give each other information on risks and other factors that are associated with the products of China regarding the 5G technology. Japan’s government will be explaining all the policy that they are adopting coming this spring. This move by Japan is mainly intended to push away Huawei products. Let’s see what happens in the future of 5G.
