SanDisk introduces an unbelievable 400GB SD card

SanDisk introduces an unbelievable 400GB SD card

SanDisk unveils its unimaginable 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card with the world’s highest capacity memory. This card which is suited for Android phones accommodates a whopping 400GB storage capacity which will allow almost everything under the sun to be stored in the tiny card.

SanDisk, owned by Western Digital, stated that the capacity breakthrough was the result of WD exploring its proprietary memory technology and design and production processes that allow for more bits per die. Two years ago, Western Digital released a 200GB microSD card which set a record for its storage capacity.

This 400BG card runs at the transfer speed of 100MB and also meets the A1 App Performance Class Specification. The wonder microSD card is built to accommodate 40 hours of 1080p HD video and can offer transfer speeds of up to 100mb/s. The card comes at an unbelievable price of $250 and a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty which is reasonable for the massive storage it offers. The card is waterproof, temperature-proof, shockproof and X-ray proof assuring the safety of the data inside. The SD card also comes with an adapter which allows the accessing of data on the card through a card reader.

The card which is now available in stores is all set to break records and change the world of storage through its superpowers. More power to you, SanDisk!
