The revolutionary AI based healthtech startup,NIRAMAI Health Analytix, has recently raised $6 million in a Series A round of funding. The funding was led by Dream Incubator, a Japanese VC firm with participation from BEENEXT and other investors like pi Ventures,Axilor Ventures,Ankur Capital, and BinnyBansal. The firm will utilise these funds to acquire the best talent as well as scale and get additional regulatory approvals to expand internationally.After the investment, the NIRAMAI will welcome EtoMunehiko, Managing Director, Dream Incubator Advisory and Investment India to its board.
NIRAMAI aims at delivering early stage breast cancer detection with Thermalytix, a non-contact, non-invasive and radiation free solution. With Thermalytix, the startup hopes to be a game changer in healthcare delivery systems by offering an affordable, accurate and easily accessible AI tool.Eto says that the partnership will bring about an extraordinary tech solution out of India that will save many lives occurring from several diseases. Moreover, their technology has the potential to solve global health problems at scale. He added, “The disruptive AI based technology is the key to early detection of disease and saving lives especially where there is a shortage of skilled medical professionals and dense breast ratio is high.”
NIRAMAI’s efforts to foray into the international market will be supported by Dream Incubator which, until now, has made investments in more than 160 companies across 8 countries and supported 28 IPOs. Founded in the year 2016 by Dr. Geetha and Nidhi, NIRAMAI had earlier succeeded in raising a seed round of $1 million in 2017.
