Google aims to help Indian startups to scale by providing a great solution. This solution will not only augment its mentorship momentum but also grow AI/ML ecosystem in India. The solution is an opened application for the next generation class. It is the Launchpad Accelerator and will be inviting startups that use AI/ML to provide a solution for ones in India.
For now, 10 startups of the first batch have joined the scores of innovative tech startups in India. These companies have been supported by the Launchpad programme over the years. Now for the second batch, Google is aiming to augment its mentorship momentum even more in order to grow to the next level. These companies will be provided with intensive in-person mentorship boot-camp that will be followed by customized support for three months. Only selected startups will be allowed and the class-II category list will be announced in February 2019. After which the program will begin in March 2019. The shortlisted startups that will be attending the boot-camp in Bangalore in March will surely have a great advantage and there will be follow-up engagements over April and May as well. Finally, we might see a huge change in the market according to experts and only time will tell if what they said is true.
