Flipkart group is building a partnership with its first global brand Nautica and will be managing the firm internationally. The company received the license and distribution rights in India. It is going to handle both online and offline business of Nautica through the network of franchise partners globally.
This will help in opening new avenues with the combined strength of Flipkart and Myntra. It also enables to gain expertise in designing, merchandising, and product development. This will be one of the unique ways to address the demands of the consumers.
"We aim to grow Nautica’s business in India and offer consumers the best shopping experience by integrating our technology expertise across various consumer touchpoints,"stated Rishi Vasudev, Flipkart Senior Vice President, and Group Head - Fashion (Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong).
Nautica will be the first-ever brand, which Flipkart is ready to manage and the company is aiming to increase the products and sales services to ensure that there is a gradual increase in the number of existing customers base across the country. This move by Flipkart will open new roads in the field of online marketing and will help the customers to gain new insight intothe user experience of the product.
