With more than 6000 start-ups coming up in two years and also with the encouragement of the government, we have seen many people starting their own companies and becoming their own boss. Do you wish to be an entrepreneur too? Do you have a great startup idea and don't know where to pitch it? Well, then you must better attend these summits coming up this January.

Odisha Startup Summit 2018

Bringing together more than 2000 participants, around 350 start-ups and many investors, The Odisha Startup Summit looks forward to explore the futuristic themes and possibilities.  The convenor of the organising committee told the Indian Express that the summit will encourage to bring about more start-ups. The start-ups will get a chance to showcase their product or interact with investors to know what they are looking out for.  With 156 registered start-ups in the state, they expect the number to increase by three times. The second edition of the Odisha Startup is organised with the support of Startup India which will be held in Bhubaneswar from January 11-13.

STARup 2018

When first launched in 2016, STARup saw over 700 leaders in startup community get together and the second edition saw more than 1200 startups. STARup boasts itself to be the ultimate networking experience that ensures start-ups to meet the right person in the right business atmosphere. With talks by more than 50 entrepreneurs and 80 investors, STARup is a great summit for budding start-ups to attend. IIFT, Delhi will host the summit from 19th to 20th of January.

Startup 2018

Poised to be the biggest Startup summit, Startup 2018, has many things in store. Along with Founder’s summit, Startup Hero Contest and Startup awards, Akshay Kumar will judge the finale of Startup Hero Contest. Startup 2018 wants its participants to find inspiration and participate in contests among thier peers and turn the limelight towards them. The event is organized by BusinessEx.com in partnership Entrepreneur and franchise India and backed by ET NOW as media partner. IIT Delhi will host the summit on 22nd January.

E-Summit 2018

With stunning competitions, workshops on startup culture and panel discussions on next generation start-ups and entrepreneurs, E-Summit is a must-attend event for people from startup community and wannabe entrepreneurs. The highlight events of the summit include ‘The ten- minute million’ where the participants can pitch their idea to attract the investors to back them with over 1.5 million rupees. The past speakers of the summit include Amitabh Kanth, Rajath Sharma, Sonam Wangchuk and many more. The summit will be hosted in IIT Mumbai on 27th of January.
