India’s most anticipated Chandrayaan- 2’s Vikram lander missed landing by just 500 meters

India's most anticipated moon mission, Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram missed the landing only by 500 meters. In September, the entire nation was riding on high hopes for its first robotic rover to the moon's South Pole through Chandrayaan-2, which was not successful eventually. It was stated that there was an ill-timed loss of contact by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) as the lander missed the target.

ISRO recently analyzed the data to know how the mission failed; now, the organization has released a strong statement stating that the lander just missed the target by only 500 meters. The lander's braking thrusters failed, and it hard landed around 500 meters from the designated landing site.

Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for the department of atomic energy and department of space stated "most of the components of technology demonstration, including the launch, critical orbital maneuver, lander separation, de-boost, and rough braking phase were accomplished,"

The ISRO scientists are now making a serious effort to build a new moon mission, the Chandrayaan-3, and are looking forward to it. The researchers at ISRO are sending a strong message to the rest of the world by showing Science and scientists never fail. They learn from their mistakes and get better with their attempt, which is being appreciated all over.
