Bodhi Linux 5.0.0 Release Candidate Is Now Available

Bodhi Linux 5.0.0 Release Candidate Is Now Available

From the very beginning, Linux has been great OS to date. Being Open Source and with its all variant, Linux is one of the best OS available today. A Linux Kernel can be can be used by most of the lightweight operating systems and can breathe a new life into older hardware, which is one of the best things about Linux. However, not all the Linux distros focus on aging computers and meager hardware.

So, the best option for all those computers and hardware is Ubuntu-based Bodhi Linux. Bodhi is a lightweight that uses a desktop environment called Moksha; a fork of Enlightenment 17. Yesterday, Bodhi Linux 5.0.0 has been released and is now available for download.

"Today I am very pleased to share the hard work of the Bodhi Team with our latest 5.0.0 pre-release disc which we are tagging as a 'Release Candidate'. These disc images have no major issues that our team has been made aware of and will likely be fairly close to the images we will tag as a stable release later this summer,” says Jeff Hoogland, Bodhi Linux.

After the rock-solid Moksha Desktop on Ubuntu 18.04, Bodhi 5.0.0 is the first to roll out a fresh new look -- a modified version of the 'Arc Dark' theme colorized in Bodhi Green. Also, the distro is loaded fresh default wallpapers, login screen, and splash scenes.
