McAfee has launched the most comprehensive cloud Security Solution for Microsoft Azure

Global computer security firm, McAfee has taken a strong decision to extend its Cloud Security Platform for Microsoft Azure which consistently provides them full network protection. According to MacAfee, the prominent solution deals with the most demanding security requirements for Microsoft Azure and allows customers to frame applications on Microsoft Azure cloud by ensuring protection over their applications, underlying cloud infrastructure and enterprise data.

McAfee Skyhigh Security Cloud for Azure is available at this point. By the end of this month, McAfee’s vNSP’s support will be available, and McAfee CWS support for Azure would be accessible later this year.

This decision marks the presentation of the primary joint solution following McAfee's acquisition of Skyhigh Networks, that demonstrates the organization's sense of duty regarding its enhancement for Cloud Security portfolio. This now incorporates McAfee Skyhigh Security Cloud, McAfee Virtual Network Security Platform (McAfee vNSP) and McAfee Cloud Workload Security (McAfee CWS).

Moving applications, data, and workloads to the cloud exposes enterprises to new threats and risks”, said Rajiv Gupta, Senior Vice President of the Cloud Security Business Unit, McAfee. According to the security firm, when organizations migrate from data centers to the cloud, they must take corrective steps to ensure their use of cloud providers. This process is not effortless as there are many complex security parameters to configure, incidents to respond to and controls to manage, which are different across various cloud providers.
