There is good news for all basketball fans in India. Very soon, NBA themed promotions and experience zones will be launched in India. The announcement came after McDonald’s and NBA, the National Basketball Association collaborated to promote and launch the initiative.
From November 14, the two brands will tie-up for a period of one month. During the period, individuals can avail an NBA-branded basketball while purchasing a family meal. The offer will be available in the South and West part of the country.
The NBA zones will be opened across 30 McDonald’s outlets across 39 cities. The fans will be experiencing like they are watching a real NBA match in front of their eyes, through a range of interactive experiences.
According to Seema Arora Nambiar, SVP of Strategy, Innovation,and Capability at McDonald’s India, the McDonald’s team believe that sports are a vital part for the overall development among children.
The fast-food brand has sponsored many different sports team worldwide, and in the upcoming children’s day, it will collaborate with NBA to motivate children to step out and play sports and enjoy their childhood. The main motive behind this partnership is to encourage children to engage themselves in sports and become proactive.
According to Yannick Colaco, MD, NBA India, the team of NBA is very happy and excited to collaborate with big brands like McDonald’s. This campaign is a perfect way for NBA to deliver new and engaging its experience to the fans.
