To Connect Sellers with CA: Flipkart Teams Up with Cleartax

The new partnership by Flipkart with Cleartax, a prominent online tax and investing platform will help Flipkart to assist its seller base by making it easier for them to ply their business online. The partnership has paved the ways for sellers to connect themselves with specialized charted accountants (CAs).

According to Flipkart, majority of their seller base consists of micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and now, they can reap the benefits of e-commerce.

Last month, the company changed its seller financing programme, Growth Capital. The programme allows the company’s sellers to collect growth credit at reasonable interest rates from banks and non-banking financial institutions as well.

The new partnership will allow the sellers to register themselves on Flipkart for filing goods and services tax. The financial services that can be availed by the sellers are goods and services tax registration, business registration, file returns, income tax returns, compliance services, ROC gain.

Additional features such as GST Health Check report, an all-in-one tool will help the sellers to gain actionable GST insights into their business and check return filing status, compare returns, know compliances and fill gaps for GSTIN.

One of the top level executives of Flipkart said the new partnership is sensible because the company’s goal is to make selling in the platform seamless and easy for the sellers.

The new development is very vital for both the companies in terms of sustainability and growth.
