Byju’s has replaced Oppo India as the official Team India sponsor, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Thursday, The Times of India reported. The deal period will begin from 5 September 2019 until 31 March 2022.
The Bengaluru-based education and learning app is owned by Think and Learn Private Limited.
Rahul Johri, chief executive, BCCI, said: “On behalf of the BCCI, we would like to thank Oppo for its partnership with Indian cricket. I congratulate Byju's on becoming the new Team India sponsor. BCCI and Byju's share a common vision and together we will take Indian Cricket forward.”
According to the report, Byju's logo will be seen on the Indian team jersey September 2019 onwards when the home series against South Africa begins.
