Red Hat, Inc., one of the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, had recently taken another step towards digital transformation. The company has created a new human resources program for the Japanese management consulting and economic research firm, Nomura Research Institute (NRI).
With the growing digital transformation requirements by customers, Nomura Research Institute (NRI) has already started training its engineers and has adopted more and more education programs. A hands-on workshop and classroom lectures to learn the basic skills were incorporated into the training programs.
Mochizuki Hirokazu, president and representative director, Red Hat Japan said that “Red Hat supports customers who desire to build industry-leading new services or accelerate the speed of business, through transformation of corporate culture, processes and technology. It is our great pleasure to be able to help NRI develop its personnel’s digital transformation skillset. We look forward to seeing NRI’s business further accelerate based on the expertise cultivated in this program”.
Digital transformation focused training programs are needed to help cultivate skills and knowledge required for the digital world. Enabling a change in the corporate culture is the key focus of the company’s training program. In the near future, the associates in charge of IT and development will also undergo the training program.
