CREDAI vowes to vaccinate more than 2.5 crore construction workers under its wing

CREDAI vowes to vaccinate more than 2.5 crore construction workers under its wing

The real estate developers in India are thrilled about the government’s decision to vaccinate everyone above the age of 18 against COVID from May 1. This means that migrant workers in the country can now get access to vaccines and prevent them from going through another distress. On April 19, the government of India had made the decision to liberalize the vaccine drive allowing industrial entities, states, and private hospitals to procure vaccines from manufacturers directly. CREDAI has welcomed the latest initiative to procure vaccines directly and the move to vaccinate people above 18 years.

The young population and migrants are the backbone of the country’s economy, and they will be happy to take the shot. President of CREDAI, Harsh Vardhan, has stated that we can certainly bring the nation’s economy back on track by vaccinating the population quickly. CREDAI has made an announcement that it will be providing free vaccines to more than 2.5 crore construction workers. This initiative is expected to be carried out through CREDAI’s 13k development members present in more than 217 Indian towns and cities. During the Pandemic, real estate developers were significantly helping workers with food, vaccination, and shelter, and now they are requesting the government to make construction workers eligible for the vaccine as they are one of the biggest employers in India.
