Indian Independent Software Vendors Moving To OCI: Oracle

Indian Independent Software Vendors Moving To OCI: Oracle

World-over enterprises continue to move their infrastructure to the cloud. Now, Oracle has announced that a large number of Indian independent software vendors (ISVs) are now turning to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Oracle has two cloud regions in India (Mumbai and Hyderabad).

The dedicated regions in the country has allowed the cloud major to offer the ISVs high performance with enterprise SLAs and best-in-class security, coupled with autonomous data management capabilities. Medexpert, Ameyo, Information Dynamics, Jocata, IBSFINtech, and, QuarkCube.IO, are amongst others who have moved to OCI to improve application performance and accelerate their business growth.

“Many are running their cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) offerings on OCI and have been able to significantly improve application performance and unlock more value for their customers. We will continue to work very closely with our ISV customers to help them achieve their business goals faster and transform their customers’ experience,” said Shailender Kumar, Regional Managing Director, Oracle India.

Another key factor that is driving the ISVs in India to choose OCI over others in the space is its great pricing structure, which is transparent and predictable. The OCI has consistently received a high satisfaction score in India, and amongst the IaaS providers in a survey by IDC, OCI had the biggest year-over-year score increase.
