The total area allocated for the project is more than 3 lakh square meters. The greenbelt will be built in an area of over 1 lakh square meterswhich is estimated to cover around 33% of the total area available for the project.
State Pollution Control Board conducted a public hearing for the project on September 26th, 2018. The concerns expressed during the public hearing were mainly related to health andemployment facilities.
There aren’t any national parks, wildlife sanctuaries,tiger/elephant reserves, biosphere reservesetc. within 10 km of the project area.
