Gulf oil Lubricant officially has inked a pact and joined hands with Piaggio Vehicles in order to market the co-branded lubricants for commercially used automobiles. This partnership will cater to franchisee workshops, export segments, factory fill, and high street lubricant vehicles. The agreement validation begins from January 2020.
“The new products have been co-developed for the entire range of commercial vehicles, including the ones conforming to the upcoming BS-VI emission norms.This (tie-up) helps us to further grow our business in the OEM segment as well as expand our business in the three-wheeler category," Gulf Oil Lubricants MD Ravi Chawla said in a statement.
Through this partnership, Piaggio will be able to avail top-notch in the line products to enhance their performance of their vehicles and it will also stabilize and strengthens the usage of these products with service initiatives.
This partnership will enable the workshops for the franchisee. The Gulf Oil Lubricants which is a part of Hinduja group and markets will also garn a wide range of automotive and industrial lubricants,greases, two-wheeler batteries in more than 100 countries. "Gulf Oil's technical expertise based on its world-class R&D setup and manufacturing facilities in India will certainly provide superior value to 27 lakh Piaggio customers," Piaggio Vehicles CEO & MD Diego Graffi said.
