Motorola has hoisted its flag of success time and again with product launches that are par excellence and has always won peoples’ hearts. There are already 17 Mods launched by Motorola and the 18th one is on the way. Motorola announced the launch of its upcoming Mod that will bring 5G connection to the entire line via Verizon network. Motorola has come in the list of first few companies to launch smartphones with the access to the 5G network provided by Verizon by launching Moto Z3. The latest mod enables the introduction of the next-gen network to a mobile phone.
According to the description, the Z3 will be able to connect to the 5G network but only with the help of Moto Mod. As the 5G network is in its nascent stage and the network is not yet dense enough, the company still has a long way to go to continue its work on the 5G front. Not all the cities currently have the potential to tap the 5G coverage. Presently, only three cities are getting Z3 with 5G Mod support: Los Angeles, Houston, and Sacramento.
Motorola is not really confident about user accepting 5G phones at this early stage and hence the company hasn’t put the 5G tech directly in the phones and preferred an external battery inside the mod to prevent extreme power overload on the phones, which would have happened otherwise. Reportedly, the Z3 will be available for a low cost of $480. As it promises the fastest connectivity with the 5G Moto Z3 phone, it is something to look forward to!
