Nubia Technology, the Chinese phone manufacturing company has released the world’s first wearable Smartphone at the 2018 IFA event in Berlin.
Dubbed as Nubia-a (Alpha), the Smartphone is designed like a watch. Its display is made up of Flex, Nubia’s display technology and has an OLED touch screen. The Smartphone comes with a front camera along with a microphone and buttons on both the sides. A heart rate sensor and charging pins are placed at the back side of it. The straps of the Smartphone are metallic and will be available in two colours, i.e. black and brown.
The company has not revealed about Alpha’s specifications, price or availability.
In the same event, the phone manufacturing company also introduced its latest Smartphone, Nubia Red Magic. The company has plans to launch it in India soon.
Nubia red Magic has a 6-inch full HD display with a pixel resolution of 1080x2160 and aspect ratio of 18:9. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 835 and is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo OS. The Smartphone has internal storage options of 64GB/128GB and 6GB/8GB of RAM. The users also have an option to expand their storage by adding a microSD card.
The Smartphone’s rear camera is equipped with 24MP sensor along with the 6-piece motor driven lens, f/1.7 aperture, and ISOCELL image sensor. The front camera has a sensor of 8MP with 76-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
The Smartphone comes with a 3800mAh battery which is bolstered by Nubia’s fast charging technology- Neo power 3.0. An additional feature of Nubia Red Magic is: 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C.
