Galaxy Note 9 is still on the way, but people are fantasizing about the features Samsung will offer in its next product iteration: the Galaxy S10. According to Business Insider’s report, S10 is expected to be launched in three different sizes: 5.8 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.4 inches.
More than the phone’s availability in different sizes and other features, what is attracting more attention is the in-display fingerprint sensor. So, what is an ‘In-display fingerprint sensor’? It is basically a thin sensor placed inside the display itself so that the phones might be unlocked by touching anywhere on the screen. Catering to the increasing demands of high screen-to-body ratio smartphones and bezel-less smartphones, which is the future of smartphones, Samsung is going to launch the in-display fingerprint sensor in its next Galaxy iteration. This feature will be available in the 6.1 and 6.4 inches phones which indicate that the larger two models will have higher-end features.
The company is striving to compete with the Apple’s next series of iPhones that might come in the similar sizes. To differentiate S10 from the iPhone that is using facial recognition as an unlock mechanism, Samsung plans to add this innovative feature of the in-display sensor.
If rumors are to be believed, S10 might include five cameras with wide angle option. The experts anticipate that these features will definitely help Galaxy S10 to standout in the competition.
