The 4th Onyx Cinema LED screen was installed by Samsung India in Bengaluru. This was done to introduce 35-40 Cinema LED displays in many movie theatres in various countries. We will see this move be established by the end of 2022 or before that. PuneetSethi the Vice President of Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business of Samsung India said that the company has started Onyx Cinema LED in the northern regions of India. In the future, the southern regions will also see in the future. The company also feels that the southern regions will bring the company a lot of sales. For now, the primary focus of Samsung will be to expand in the metro and other class A cities.
The firm had initially introduced this tech back in 2017. The first ever screening took place in Korea. PuneetSethi further said that India is the right region with a huge potential for growth. Samsung also aims to convert at least 20 per cent of the screens to Cinema LED in the next decade. Thus, innovative solutions to Indian customer will be available in the future. So let’s see what happens in the future for Samsung and India.
