Microsoft Launches the New Surface Go in India

Microsoft has launched its smallest and the most affordable Surface device, i.e. Surface Go in the Indian online e-commerce site Flipkart. The starting price of the device is Rs. 38,599.

The new Surface Go is believed to be lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and Apple iPad with a weight of just 522g. With a screen size of 10 inches, the two-in-one device has two variants, i.e. 4GB and 8GB RAM. The 8GB version comes with internal storage of 128GB and the 4GB version is integrated with the internal storage of 64GB.

Coming with the price, the lower model costs Rs. 38,599 and the higher model costs Rs. 50,999.

The company has rolled out the device throughout the world earlier this year.

Exclusively equipped with a surface pen (with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity), the 10-inch screen device is powered by a 3:2 high-resolution "PixelSense" custom calibrated the display. The processor of the device is 7th Generation Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y and the screen is guarded with Gorilla glass (version 3). Users can use the device upto 9 hours with a full charge.

There are several ports in the device- Surface Connect for charging and docking, USB-C 3.1 for data, video, and charging, a headphone jack and a MicroSD card reader for storage expansion.

Surface Go has two cameras, the HD front camera has a megapixel of 5 while the rear camera is 8MP with rear autofocus. The device is good for video call with its HD cameras and has two microphones.
