KKBOX Group, a leading media technology company in Asia recently made an announcement regarding its strategic partnership with Microsoft Taiwan. The group will move KKBOX’s music streaming service to Microsoft’s cloud platform Azure. To reduce the operating costs for over-the-top (OTT) platform operators BlendVision will be released. BlendVision is a next gen video streaming solution which will make use of AI and Data. KKBOX Group and Microsoft is using AI and data to optimize music-creation system and tap into new potentials for improving music listening for consumers. The new cooperation between the two entities is considered to be a milestone for KKBOX Group and this opens up new avenues for the digital entertainment industry. The entertainment and media industry is going through massive transformation and people working in this industry are expected to be more innovative in their content delivery.
The KKBOX Group has served the industry for almost 15 years and now it is looking forward to expand globally. The company is planning to integrate big data in music, video, ecommerce, and show ticketing. This will provide a better experience for consumers, creators, artists, and concert organizers.
