Ahmed Mazhari has been appointed as Microsoft Asia’s new President and Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Corporation effective from February 10, 2020. He follows in the footsteps of Ralph Haupter who will be the President of Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Microsoft effective from April 1, 2020. Mazhari and Haupter will work together until March 31, 2020 to ensure a seamless transition of leadership.
Mazhari will use his experience in leading and implementing digital transformation and fostering strong collaboration between organizations to head Microsoft’s operations in the region. He will be reporting to Jean-Philippe Courtois, the Executive Vice-President and President, Global Sales, Marketing and Operations, Microsoft Corporation.

Mazhari brings over 23 years of experience at GE and Genpact where he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer leading to GE and Genpact’s growth across all industry verticals, products, service lines and geographies.
