Azure FarmBeats from Microsoft will propel the growth of Agritech startups in India

To help the Indian agritech startups, Microsoft recently launched a program that can build industry-specific solutions top scale and grow. This program gives startups access to business, marketing, and deep technology resources. It is a three-tier program that offers business and tech-related resources to Series C startups. Along with the resources, benefits of Azure, help with Azure marketing onboarding, and unlimited tech support is also provided. Director, Startup Ecosystem, Microsoft India, Sangeeta Bavi, stated that the Microsoft’s initiative to help the Agritech Startups is still in the early stages, and this journey was embarked by the company to empower startups.

Along with the company’s partner ecosystem, startups can easily scale with this enterprise-ready solution because it has technical support, new sales opportunities, and joint go-to-market strategies. Customization and the co-building option is also available for startups that want to create new digital agriculture solutions. This can be achieved without investing in deep data engineering resources. Azure FarmBeats is available on the Azure Marketplace, which gives various agriculture datasets and actionable insights. Microsoft stated that FarmBeats could be used by startups to aggregate, process, and also acquire new agricultural data to create their own artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
