Microsoft has always been behind in the mobile phone industry. It never managed to make its mark even after the acquisition of Nokia. But with recent news on the Andromeda Project, the phone is said to be a surface device with a dual screen and a pen (phone compatible). It is said that the phone might release later this year.
Although this project has been active for years, there isn’t any accurate information on what exactly it holds. The phone is said to be both a surface phone and a foldable PC as the speculation goes. But there is little information about the device being a foldable PC. It is said to be a pocket-sized phone according to few sources. Also, the device is said to operate on an Andromeda OS that can be the upcoming Windows 10. Microsoft has a history of canceling project releases, hence the news on it releasing in 2018 might not be true as well or is it?
But all in all, this is the best opportunity for it to make a huge comeback in the mobile phone market because it is high time that it makes a move. Many other firms are really taking over this industry and creating a storm. The once tech giants will plan out everything precisely and will surely hit its mark very soon. This is what the fanbase believes and we might see Microsoft go to the next-level.
