TikTok Officially Banned: The App has now vanished from Google Play Store

Google finally blocks TikTok after a series of discussion on social media. The state court directive prohibited its download. The block came after the refusal of the request put by the Chinese to the southern Tamil Nadu state. India is a huge market for TikTok and there are many users who have been using it excessively. But the problem that came with this excessive use is the encouragement of pornography, child vulnerability to sexual predators, an extensive amount of usage and wrong message set to many youngsters. The content on TikTok had become too inappropriate and children could gain access to such content.

To stop it from affecting the young users even further government sent a letter to Apple and Google to remove this app from its iOS App Store and Play Store respectively. Bytedance did challenge the state court in India’s Supreme Court that the state board is going against the freedom of speech rights in India. But all its efforts went in vain because the Supreme Court rejected Bytedance’s call. But in the Supreme Court filling Bytedance did argue that a very minuscule proportion of TikTok content was inappropriate or absence. But the problem is Bytedance doesn’t understand that no matter how small the percentage of absence content, it is still affecting the users and is bad for them according to many experts.
