Tik Tok Bets on Indian Youth, Collaborates with NSDC

ByteDance’s Tik Tok has made an announcement that it is joining hands with India’s with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), ET reported on Monday. The move by Tik Tok will help it to boost skill development in India and also celebrate World Youth Skills Day.

The company stated that NSDC will leverage its platform to educate more than 200 million users. The collaboration will help the first time internet users in India as they will be informed about important events such as government-driven skill development programs and vocational training opportunities through in-app campaign #Skills4All.

One of the top level executives of TikTok said the company is thrilled to collaborate with NSDC in order to encourage India Tik Tok youths to take up skill development programmes and educate them about vocational training. The collaboration also reflects the company’s goal to empower India’s creative economy by delivering its users with a universal platform to show their talent and skills across categories. TikTok seeks to assist NSDC to fulfil the current gaps of skills supply by educating its users about the initiatives.

By joining hands with #Skills4All, TikTok has already garnered more than 217.7 million views with some of the famous TikTok creators across the globe.

The new collaboration is a major step by Tik Tok taken towards India’s development in the field of skill development and education.
