Spotify is a company that is expanding its global presence by providing its services to various countries. For now, there are about thirteen new countries that Spotify has expanded in. Those include UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt. So far it has been quite successful in its venture of expansion. The firm has shown some high customer usage and it has been really topping the charts in the user market. Now it is planning to expand to India in the first half of 2019. According to reports, it will be launched right at the beginning of the year.
Spotify has already signed a deal with a few of the major record labels that the country has to offer. The firm is currently planning to get others in the same venture. T-Series is one such company and we all know how big T-Series is in India. Further, Sony Music is also tagging in the venture (according to the publication).
Spotify certainly had some rough path in its venture and according to reposts it has made its way through and now there seems to be no problems. With this we will be seeing some new streaming services in the market, will it affect the already existing Gaana and Saavn? Let's wait and watch.
