Last year, Samsung launched the first Onyx Cinema LED theatre in India by collaborating with PVR. Now, the company is planning to launch another Onyx screen in Bengaluru in partnership with Harman at the Swagath Cinemas. With the 14 metreOnyx Cinema LED screen, cinema goers will be getting quite an immersive viewing experience with captivating, sharp and larger-than-life visuals. Samsung has been successful in installing the Onyx Cinema LED in China and Malaysia.
There are a total of 618 seats in Swagath Cinemas, and with the addition of the Onyx theatre, it might well become the world’s largest theatre to equip the LED screen.The Onyx screen is capable of supporting HDR as a result of which, people can expect crisp picture quality with high brightness levels, sharp contrast and great viewing angles. Every seat in the theatre will get the benefit of the 3D applicable screen with active 3D technology.Moreover, Samsung has joined hands with Harman to facilitate the equipment ofJBL Professional cinema loudspeakers in the theatre. The Onyx LED screen will also include various solutions like Onyx 3D, Onyx View and Onyx Sound.
According to a statement made by PuneetSethi, VP of Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business, Samsung India, Samsung is the only brand that has put efforts to provide an end-to-end movie experience right from great visuals and sound through Onyx and JBL Professional. The Onyx Cinema LED will bring about a revolution in cinema viewing experience for every movie lover in Bengaluru as well as across the country.
