Will 'Instagram Shopping' Launch in India?

‘Instagram Shopping’ is an idea that was out in the market in the year 2016. Soon it expanded to other countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France and Spain. Further, there were many other regions this feature was launched. Now comparing it with the Indian market which is already dominated by two great giants – Amazon, Flipkart, and other online portals similar to these will have a new competitor. 

According to reports this new feature might be launched in 2019. This will be enabling users to shop online using the app. It will be quite similar to any other online shopping sites and apps. But Insta says that it will allow brands to direct customers to their web pages through various ranges of ads. These formats include photo ads, collection ads, carousel ads and story ads. Facebook is the mastermind here. It seeks the e-commerce market of India because it is evident that the market for e-commerce is really high. With a highly populated country, many would get the idea that e-commerce is one of the best sectors to step in. Certainty is true because there is a huge number of people who only shop online and Instagram shopping could be a game changer in the market, let us see what happens in the future.
