The CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai confirms that India (his origin) is the perfect region for YouTube to grow. The firm admitted the fact that the recent ad product changes in YouTube are affecting its top-line growth. The firm’s plans dint goes according to plan. The YouTube Premium and YouTube Music is available in 43 countries and in mid- March we saw YouTube Music in India. Ever since it was released around 15 million times the app was downloaded. The country really did show high potential in the usage of this app. Making both the brand and company to grow in its own market. The business campaigns of the firm are continuing to grow and with the support of its creators, the overall growth is immense. The CEO is now focusing on sanitizing the content that is on YouTube.
"Maybe I will start with the YouTube comments. I talked about in the area of content responsibility, we are definitely focused on making sure we are constantly improving how we are handling both in terms of reducing the content and shouldn't be there on the platform,” says the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai.
