Football is an evergreen sport with fans all around the world including India. Fans can now watch the match of El Clasico that was scheduled on Sunday. The match between Real Madrid and Barcelona will be out live and for free on Facebook Watch. The La Liga has confirmed this news and many are happy about it. All this happened because Spain’s top flight signed a landmark deal with the leader in social media platforms – Facebook. This has now given permission for the viewers in Indian sub-continent to watch every single game that will happen in the next three seasons. But the sad news is that all the matches will not be streaming live. Selected few will be streamed but still, it is amazing news according to experts.
Facebook has now started moving into the sports vertical. It has been streaming since 2017 by broadcasting leagues like Baseball. Peter Hutton who is now the head of global live sports programming on Facebook said that this move is a good decision because the two games that are playing are fan favourites all around the world. India will be very happy to see these two plays it out and will be satisfied.
