All thanks to Craft beer world!

All thanks to Craft beer world!

A beer can be very subjective and a personal experience. And each individual’s beer brand is one of a kind. The national brewers association, the publishers of, has created a seal that can be used by independent craft brewers who meet certain criteria. Beer lovers no longer have to scrutinize the beer cans to know who bottled their beer.  This is an initiative to make the consumers understand that which breweries are independent and which do not fall in the category as the consumers are more interested in knowing the origin of their product in a way. “A lot of beer lovers really care about who makes their beer, and they want to make sure it comes from a small and independent craft brewer,” says Paul Gatza, the association director. “What this provides is a clear message to the beer drinker.” It is not a necessary that the craft brewers must be part of the Brewers association but if they meet the criteria they can access the seal. The criteria they have to meet is that the brewer must fit the association’s craft brewer definition: small, with an annual production of 6 million barrels or less; independent, with less than 25 percent owned or controlled by a beverage alcohol industry member that isn’t itself a craft brewer; and traditional, with a majority of its output flavors that derive from traditional or innovative brewing ingredients and fermentation, should possess an active TTB, and there it goes. All thanks to Craft beer world!
