A global cockpit electronics leader called – Visteon has now started a new technical center. The place it has selected is the silicon valley of India – Bangalore/Bengaluru. During the inauguration, we did see leaders of Visteon India along with the employees and of course Matt Cole, Senior vice president of Visteon. The firm is said to be at Bellandur Village in the Pritech Park SEZ. The center in Bangalore is said to collaborate with the existing Visteon’s global tech centers. It will further work on its Android-based infotainment, cyber security, autonomous vehicle technologies for regional, driver awareness systems and autonomous vehicle technologies for regional and global customer applications, and AUTOSAR.
Cole did say that the firm is experiencing a drastic growth in various tech areas. These tech areas include infotainment, autonomous technology and cockpit domain controllers. The new office was opened because the company feels that it can provide the next generation of products for various customers and meet their demand. The firm already had three other centers in Goa, Chennai, and Pune. Now with Silicon Valley’s new office, the firm will surely complement each other. Currently holds 200 employees and will surely expand more.
