Real – Time Train and Bus Status will now be shown by Google Maps in India

Google maps have aided many in the country. It is not easy to travel around cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, and many other highly crowded areas. To maintain road discipline, the people in charge of constructing roads mainly focus on two factors – one, road safety and two, traffic reduction. But figuring out the right path to reach a destination was always tough and then came Google maps. Many could find their way and in the past, it helped many who drove cars and bikes. But now, it is said to be an even greater asset for those traveling in Trains, Buses and even Rickshaws – Autos. According to reports, the map is said to reflect the live traveling time of each public transport. We will get to see the time delay, current location, and overall time to get to a particular location.

The mechanism and color coding will be used, that is green – on time, red – delayed and other colors that show where roads are blocked or the bus stops because of some external reasons. This feature is said to be available in selected cities and regions. Cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Chennai should have this feature and according to reports, these cities will be among the ten locations where the new Google Maps will be active. Along with these cities, places like Hyderabad, Mysuru, Lucknow, Coimbatore, and Surat will have the privilege of using the updated Google Maps.
