Sanjay Kaul who was the country manager for Apple has now launched a new startup called Sofyx. It will be a social commerce platform that will be a trader dealing with smartphones and accessories in the country. It was initially started on Monday and is now bringing together a mobile reseller community with the stakeholders. These stakeholders are distributors, operators, device manufacturers and other vendors on a single platform. This information came from Sanjay Kaul himself.
The major objective, for now, is to strengthen the general trade business in India. Also, the firm will intend to improve it as well. For now, at the initial level, the platform will be enabling information exchange, real-time feedback, engagement and community building amongst the stakeholder group. Also, at a functional level, the company will be helping in driving business transactions that will be happening through various stakeholders. The platform is said to be focusing on streamlining and digitize operation. This is in terms of buying and customer interactions. Considering all these factors we might see a new innovative company that is here to bring a change in the market. But it all depends on how Sanjay Kaul and his company play its cards.
