Lenovo is tagging with Byju’s (the educational company) and Ola (the taxi service firm) to expand its reach in the country. With its new plan of releasing a smartphone size tablet that will be worth Rs 10,000 or less is said to make a huge difference for Lenovo in the Indian market. We will see this new movement taking place by the next quarter. Further, the CEO of Lenovo India – Rahul Agarwal himself confirms that the company is also planning on diversifying its portfolio to expand. They will be doing it by adding in Enterprise Internet – of – Things, Smart Cameras and Personal Devices. Since these products are in demand everyone wants to manufacture it and Lenovo is now one of those companies.
Rahul also said that he wants to get more data on customer choices by interacting with them, which is of course under the privacy laws. He will be doing so through the help of personal devices that Lenovo is said to bring out to the market. He further added that he wants to get into building the company’s strength since the firm has data, computing power, and algorithms. For now, they will be working on better solutions to reach a wider group of audiences in the market.
