Druva: The New Billion Dollar Startup in India

India is one such country that has its unicorn club with companies like InMobi, Big Basket, Swiggy, OYO Rooms and more. Now a new player called Druva has joined the team. It is a Pune-based company focusing on Data Protection and has currently raised $130 million. US-based companies like Atreides Management, Neuberger Berman and Viking Global Investors have shown interest in Druva. As a result, these companies have invested in the firm. Also, Druva has existing firms like Nexus Venture Partners, Riverwood Capital, and Tenaya Capital. According to reports, it has raised $328 million till now. Druva is said to have revenue of $100 million and a roughly estimated growth of $50 million a year.

The firm is famous for its SaaS, disaster recovery, analytics on the cloud, and archival. Also, the firm is available on the Amazon Web Services platform. It also plays a key role in providing services for AWS data centers. For now, it has procured around 4,000 customers. Many big names such as Hitachi, Pfizer and Marriott are currently Druva’s customers. We might see more customers flooding in the future due to its immense growth in the current market.
