Namaste Google! Now Talk To Google Home in Hindi

When we talk about technology and innovation, Google is the first name that comes to our mind. And with its new announcement, the tech giant has proved again why it is the leading the technology space.

Recently for the Indian users, Google has announced that now Google Home willbe taking commands in Hindi language and will also be able to respond in Hindi.

Earlier this year, Google has already made the Hindi language available on Google Assistant for smartphones. Also, Google last year launched the Assistant in Hindi for Allo as well—created especially for Jio feature phones.

“Our team has been working really hard at teaching the Assistant on Google Home to understand Hindi, and now it will respond with uniquely Indian contexts.“Now get hands-free help at home in Hindi to get things done,” said Purvi Shah, Technical Programme Manager, Google Assistant. How to talk to the Assistanton Google Home in Hindi? Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

All you need to do is just set up the preferred language on the Google Home app on your phone. Head to Account >Settings> Assistance > Add a language and then set Hindi as the first language in the list and you’re good to go — say “Ok Google” to start a conversation and you can ask questions in Hindi.

Whether you want to make a call or listen to music or set reminders or get music updates, Google home will now assist you in Hindi.
