The American tech giant Google has introduced a new feature for the users which allows them to search jobs within Google in India. The aim is to connect job-seekers and employers through deep collaboration with the job matching industry. Job seekers can now find relevant employment opportunities from many popular job listing websites, online classifieds, and companies.
According to Google , they are working with a number of organizations including Aasaanjobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, QuikrJobs, Shine.com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs, and Wisdomjobs from across the industry to bring more job listings. Furthermore, The Job search on Google currently has over a million listings across different job types and industries from over ninety thousand employers in the India.
To use the new experience, users can access it in English on the Search app on Android and iOS, as well as in Google Search on the desktop and mobile. It will allow the users to get access over detailed information about each job which would include job title, location, whether it’s full-time, part-time or an internship, and more.
According to Rajan Anandan, Vice President, India & Southeast Asia, in Q4 last year, the search engine saw more than a 45% increase in the number of job search queries, and this number is continuously growing.
