Mobile gaming in India has seen significant growth over the past years, and the pandemic has pushed this growth even further and to greater heights. With people bound to the confines of their homes, virtual entrainment has become paramount. Mobile gaming, in particular, has attracted a larger number of people and has made them enjoy themselves in the safe space of their home. Multiplayer games have also allowed players to stay in touch with their friends.
Rajan Navani, vice chairman and managing director at JetSynthesys, has stated that "the Indian gaming landscape has evolved drastically over the last few years. Currently, India is already one of the top five markets for mobile gaming in terms of the user base, driven by smartphones' proliferation, democratized data, and localized content. Mobile has even surpassed PC and console as the biggest gaming category not just in India but across the globe."
The firm has recently announced an exclusive partnership with WWE to launch WWE Racing Showdown, a unique, high-octane, vehicular combat game featuring the best of mobile action, sports, and racing. It is currently in the pre-launch phase and will be officially launched later this year. Besides, the firm also has other interesting projects lined up that will be disclosed in due course.
