ITC launches the world's most expensive chocolate priced at Rs 4.3 lakh/kg

ITC on Tuesday launched the world's most expensive chocolate priced at Rs 4.3 lakh per kilogram under its Fabelle brand. ITC's luxurious chocolate brand Fabelle Exquisite Chocolates has introduced its limited edition range of chocolates named 'Trinity - Truffles Extraordinaire.’

The chocolate is Co-curated by France's Michelin Star Chef Philippe Conticini and Fabelle's Master Chocolatier, Fabelle's 'Trinity - Truffles Extraordinaire' box is priced at approximately Rs4.3 lakh per kg. With this launchand it has been listed as the most expensive chocolate under Guinness World Records.

The record earlier was in the name of Fritz Knipschildt (Denmark), an artisan chocolatierwho had created the world’s most expensive individual chocolate, which was priced at Rs3.39 lakh. The chocolate is called La Madeline au Truffe.

"We at Fabelle are extremely happy for setting new benchmarks not just in the Indian luxury chocolate market but also now in the world with achieving the Guinness World Records feat," stated AnujRustagi ITC Chief Operating Officer - Chocolates, Confectionary, Coffee and New Categories - Food Division.

Fabelle Trinity Truffles Extraordinaire will be available in three range—Creator, Nurturer, and Destroyer in a box of handcrafted boxes, each representing a concept.The limited-edition chocolates will be encased in a hand-made wooden box, with 15 truffles, which approximately weighs about 15 grams. The made-to-order box will be available at an indulgent price of Rs one lakh inclusive of taxes.
