Dominos Japan launches “Halloween Roulette” Pizza

As the world prepares for the famous holiday of Halloween, Dominos Japan has upped their game to the next level. They are launching a new version of pizza called the Halloween Roulette pizza to celebrate the event. What sets this pizza apart from other conventional versions? One of the eight slices is secretly spiced with BhutJhalokia, also known as ghost chilli pepper. Once known as the world’s spiciest chilli, it is sure to make the unsuspecting diner reach for a gallon of milk.

A sure shot thrill for adventurous diners, Dominos Japan lets you choose a pizza of your choice before adding on the Halloween Roulette option which causes one of the slices to be spiked with the spicy sauce. This offer will be running till the fourth of November.

BhutJhalokia, colloquially known as ghost chilli pepper, is grown in the states of Assam Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and the rest of East India. It is used by the natives to spray on fences in order to ward of wild animals. Considering it is seasonal, it is picked with vinegar and salt in order to preserve it for future use. They are popularly used in meat based preparations in order to up the spice level.
