PepsiCo is The New Beverage Partner of Dominos in India

Jubilant FoodWorks, the Noida-based company which operates Dunkin Donuts and Dominos franchises in India has made an announcement about the new beverage partner of Dominos.

The 20 years partnership between Coca-Cola and Dominos has ended on Tuesday. PepsiCo, the beverage and snack makers will be the new beverage partner for Dominos. The move by Jubilant FoodWorks will boost PepsiCo’s food service business in India.

PepsiCo has many carbonated beverages like Mirinda, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7Up and Lipton Tea under its belt. Under the new multi-year partnership, all these beverages will be sold across all Dominos franchises in India. Dominos sells PepsiCo’s beverages in 21 nations worldwide.

According to Pratik Pota, CEO and whole time director of Jubilant FoodWorks, the partnership will enhance the company’s portfolio. The company committed to offer more variety in beverages thereby enhancing the Domino’s Pizza experience for the customers.

Jubilant FoodWorks control over 1167 Dominos franchises in 269 cities. Apart from India, the company along with its subsidiaries have the permission to control and develop the brand in Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

According to El Sheikh, President and CEO of PepsiCo India, the partnership with Dominos will strengthen the company’s position in the Indian food services segment and consumers can expect some new exciting experiences.

PepsiCo traditionally had a stronger share in the QSR (quick service restaurant) food service business space and has exclusive tie-ups with key players such as KFC, Subway, Pizza Hut and Burger King.
