Smartphones are having an undisputed control in people’s lives and it has reached such a level that it affects the hotel guest. While surfing the internet for a hotel during a business trip or leisure trip, smartphones are used to deal with those activities. Research from CWT shows that people are more likely to use a smartphone for booking a flight is higher while compared to other modes.
A report from Skift suggests that when there is an ERP deployed in the organization’s functions, it will help in streamlining the business. When an ERP model was deployed in a Las Vegas-based hotel, the number of people using their chatbot significantly rose and the consumers using that service spent 30 percent more than those who didn’t. Hotels like Marriot are expected to use Mobile Key technology, the smartphones can not only be used for opening doors, they can also be used availing other services in the hotel.
