Upskilling Startup Scaler Raises $55 Million in Series B Funding

Series B round was led by Lightrock India

The Upskilling startup Scaler has announced that it has secured $55 million in its Series B. The round was led by Lightrock India with participation from two existing investors, Sequoia Capital India and Tiger Global.

With the fresh round of funding, Scaler's valuation has risen to $710 million. The company has so far raised $67.5 million in total funding since its establishment in 2020.

"We were humbled by the strong interest shown by the global investing community who want to be part of Scaler's future and play a significant role in shaping India's technology skill space. We decided to go with Lightrock India and our existing investors (Sequoia Capital India & Tiger Global), who share our vision of what we are trying to do at Scaler," said Abhimanyu Saxena, Co-Founder, Scaler & InterviewBit.

Scaler is disrupting the formal higher education sector through its programs. The Series B funding will give the company the fresh injection it needed to pursue international expansion, launch new products, recruit, and make strategic acquisitions.
