In India, the growth of education tech is still in progress. Many companies have started investing in startups mainly focusing on tech that gives a better education for children. Parents can now afford these techs and can provide the best education for their children. According to reports, a host of online platforms are taking advantage of the new surge in smartphones ownership. This is to engage millions of youngsters to interact using games and animation videos, which comes in the form of lessons so that it becomes easy for the kids to learn.
This concept has been implemented by a teacher in Mumbai. She is PoojaPrashantSankhe, who uses Amazon’s device – Alexa as a tool to get children more interactive. She has placed the device inside a mannequin that is usually used in cloth stores in India. The mannequin acts like a person and every time a child asks a question, the mannequin responds, in other words, Alexa responds. This actually gives the kid a feeling that they are talking to a real person. For example, the kids ask how many states are there in India and get the right answer. They even do math sums and ask Alexa if they are right. Furthermore, asking certain advance questions such as species of a bird or animal is also helping children. A simple tech used in an innovative way, let us see how other entrepreneurs implement their own ideas.
