YouTube share a quick look of its forthcoming website design

The popular search giant ‘Google’ recently has revealed that currently it's working on a refurbish layout for its YouTube video sharing website. Based on Material Design guidelines, the new website is cleaner with level tones and a minimalistic theme. This apart, a new dark mode has also been shown as part of the website's chart repair. While the other developments include changes to different sections such as search, channel pages and theater mode. Regrettably, the user won't be able to view the new website now as the company has closed the opt-in preview.

"Starting today, we're opening up a preview of the new design to a small group of people from all around the world so we can get feedback. While we hope you'll love what we've been working on, we're also really excited to involve the YouTube community so we can make the site even better before sharing it more broadly," said Brian Marquardt, product manager, YouTube.

As per the company they have detached the visuals that could possibly distract users from browsing or viewing video content. The new plans and strategies of YouTube also line up with different Google platforms, including YouTube's mobile app.

Aimed to decrease the frown, the all new dark theme is meant to allow users view "true colours" of the videos they watch. The all new theme makes the backdrop Black, along with also get rid of the White colour from the sidebar as well. The redesigned site and dark theme are built using Polymer framework.

The company also last month said that said that India is a key market for the company and that it has set up more than a few features to augment the visual experience for the Indian users.
